Looking for a ProfitWell alternative
This is the awkward one to write, because ProfitWell Metrics is free and Paylytics is not.

Prices and integration lists move. Nothing here is quoted from a review site or from memory, and if it has drifted since that date, theirs is the page that is right and this one is wrong.

- Part of Paddle — profitwell.com redirects to paddle.com, still branded ProfitWell Metrics.

- Free. A paid "Metrics Plus" tier exists with no published price; their page says to email support.
- What Plus buys
- Their words: data updates "within 30 - 60 minutes (instead of the 3 - 6 hour wait that exists with Free Metrics)".

- OAuth with read access, and you must be an admin on the Stripe account.

What ProfitWell does that Paylytics does not
It is free, and not in the way that usually means something. There is no seat count, no revenue band and no expiry on the metrics themselves, which is a genuinely strong offer that Paylytics does not match at any tier.
Stripe connects by OAuth with read access rather than by pasting a key anywhere, which is a cleaner mechanism than this product can offer for a provider that supports it.
They have a push API, so a provider they have never integrated can still be sent data. Paylytics has no equivalent — a provider is supported here or it is not.

What Paylytics does instead
Paylytics reads Polar and Dodo Payments. Their published sources do not include either, and there is no adapter to wait for.
Refresh is a button here rather than a queue position. Their free tier documents a three-to-six hour wait for data to update, with faster updates on the paid tier.
One flat price with no revenue band, no seat count and no ceiling on connected accounts.

When to pick ProfitWell instead
If Stripe or Paddle is your only provider and free is the requirement, use ProfitWell Metrics. It is free, it is well built, and ten dollars a month is not a rounding error to everybody. Come back if you add a provider they do not read.
