# Paylytics > Connect every payment account you own with a read-only key and read them as one statement: orders, payments, refunds, subscriptions and customers, merged or one account at a time. Paylytics is a read-only revenue dashboard for anyone selling through more than one payment provider. You connect Polar, Stripe, Dodo Payments and Paddle accounts with a read-only key. It mirrors orders, refunds, subscriptions, customers and products into one place, and reads them merged across every account or filtered to a subset. It cannot move money. There is no code path that creates, refunds, cancels or edits anything at any provider, and the keys it holds are encrypted before they are stored. Customer names and email addresses are encrypted at rest. Amounts, dates and statuses are not, because every total is a sum the database itself computes and it cannot add up what it cannot read. ## Pages - [Paylytics](https://paylytics.modulify.website): the product, what it merges, and a sample dashboard drawn from illustrative figures. - [Integrations](https://paylytics.modulify.website/integrations): every provider, and what merging them actually involves. - [Polar revenue dashboard](https://paylytics.modulify.website/integrations/polar): Connect a Polar organization with a read-scoped token. Read its orders, subscriptions, customers and products alone, or merged with your other accounts. - [Stripe revenue dashboard](https://paylytics.modulify.website/integrations/stripe): Connect a Stripe account with a restricted, read-only key. Read its charges, subscriptions, customers and products alone, or merged with your other accounts. - [Dodo Payments revenue dashboard](https://paylytics.modulify.website/integrations/dodo): Connect a Dodo Payments business with a read-only API key. Read its payments, subscriptions, customers and products alone, or merged with your other accounts. - [Paddle revenue dashboard](https://paylytics.modulify.website/integrations/paddle): Connect a Paddle Billing account with read-only permissions. Read its transactions, subscriptions, customers and products alone, or merged with your others. - [Alternatives](https://paylytics.modulify.website/alternatives): how it compares with the established tools, including where each of them is the better answer. - [Baremetrics alternative](https://paylytics.modulify.website/alternatives/baremetrics): What Baremetrics costs, which providers it reads, and the narrow set of cases where Paylytics is the better fit. Checked against their own pricing page. - [ChartMogul alternative](https://paylytics.modulify.website/alternatives/chartmogul): ChartMogul counts every Stripe account as a billing source against your plan quota. What that costs, and where a flat-priced dashboard fits instead. - [ProfitWell alternative](https://paylytics.modulify.website/alternatives/profitwell): ProfitWell Metrics is free and good. The only honest reason to use something else is which payment providers it can read. - [Calculators](https://paylytics.modulify.website/calculators): free calculators for recurring revenue and retention, each explaining the formula it uses. - [MRR calculator](https://paylytics.modulify.website/calculators/mrr): Turn a mix of monthly, quarterly and annual plans into one MRR figure. Free, no sign-up, and it explains what it is doing at every step. - [Churn rate calculator](https://paylytics.modulify.website/calculators/churn): Customer churn, revenue churn and net revenue retention from one set of numbers, with the difference between them spelled out. - [Security](https://paylytics.modulify.website/security): what is encrypted, what read-only rests on per provider, and the stated ceiling on a breach. - [Guides](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides): running several accounts at one provider, and creating a key that can only read. - [Multiple Stripe accounts, one dashboard](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides/multiple-stripe-accounts): Stripe shows one account at a time and never adds two together. Connect each with a restricted read-only key and read them as a single statement. - [Multiple Polar organizations, one dashboard](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides/multiple-polar-organizations): Polar scopes everything to one organization. Connect each with a read-scoped access token and read them together, or alongside your other providers. - [Multiple Dodo businesses, one dashboard](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides/multiple-dodo-payments-businesses): Dodo Payments scopes its dashboard to one business. Connect each with a read-only API key and read them together, or alongside your other providers. - [Multiple Paddle accounts, one dashboard](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides/multiple-paddle-accounts): Paddle reports per seller account and nets its own fee out of one of its totals. Connect each with read-only permissions and read them as one statement. - [Creating a read-only Stripe API key](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides/stripe-restricted-api-key): Which four permissions to grant on a Stripe restricted key, what each one powers, what breaks when one is missing, and what revoking it does. - [Creating a read-only Polar access token](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides/polar-read-only-access-token): Which four scopes to grant on a Polar organization access token, what each one powers, and what happens when a scope is changed later. - [Creating a read-only Dodo Payments key](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides/dodo-payments-read-only-api-key): Dodo read-only mode is one checkbox, set when the key is created and impossible to inspect afterwards. What that means, and what it costs you. - [Creating a read-only Paddle API key](https://paylytics.modulify.website/guides/paddle-read-only-api-key): The exact four read permissions to grant on a Paddle Billing API key, what each powers, and how to check on Paddle's own screen that it cannot write. - [Privacy policy](https://paylytics.modulify.website/privacy.md): what is held, what is encrypted, who can reach it, and the stated ceiling on what a breach could cost. - [Terms of service](https://paylytics.modulify.website/terms.md): what may be connected, what the product is allowed to do with it, and what neither side is promising. ## What it does - **Add up every provider without a spreadsheet.** Both are normalised into the same rows on the way in, so a Stripe charge and a Polar order land side by side in one total instead of two dashboards you have to reconcile by hand. - **Know what you actually earn every month.** Monthly recurring revenue normalised across monthly and yearly plans, summed over every connected account at once, next to active, trialing, past due and the plans set to cancel. - **Find out which product carries the business.** Revenue ranked by product and by billing country, across every connected account together, so the answer is not split across four logins and three providers. - **See a repeat buyer as one person.** Customers are grouped by email, so someone who buys from two of your accounts appears once, with a combined lifetime total and the accounts they buy from. - **Notice refunds before they become a surprise.** Gross, refunded and net sit side by side, each measured against the previous period of the same length, so a bad week is visible while it is still a week. - **Send someone a view instead of a spreadsheet.** Account selection, date range, search and filters all live in the address bar, so any view you are looking at is a link you can paste to someone else. ## Pricing - **Free ($0).** Enough to see your books merged. 2 accounts. - **Unlimited ($10 per month).** For anyone billing in more than one place. Unlimited accounts. The only difference between the plans is how many payment accounts may be connected. Every view, every figure and every export is on both. Billing is handled by Polar as merchant of record, and a subscription can be cancelled at any time from inside the dashboard. ## Frequently asked - **Can Paylytics change anything in my payment provider account?** No. It only ever reads. There is no code path that creates, refunds, cancels or edits anything at any provider. Polar connects with a read-scoped organization token and Stripe with a restricted key, neither of which can move money. Dodo Payments keys are read-only when you leave "Enable write access" unchecked, but a Dodo key looks identical either way, so we tell you to uncheck it and are straight that we cannot verify it from our side. - **What happens to my access key?** It is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is written to storage, decrypted only on the server when a sync runs, and never sent to the browser. The dashboard only ever shows the last four characters so you can tell two keys apart. Revoke it at the provider at any time and the connection simply stops working. - **What happens to my customers' data?** Their names and email addresses are encrypted before they are written, each value with its own nonce, so the database holds ciphertext rather than a readable list of the people who bought from you. Nobody reading the database directly can see who they are. Amounts, dates and statuses are not encrypted, because every total and chart is a sum the database itself computes and it cannot add up what it cannot read. The privacy page sets out exactly what that protects against and what it does not. - **What if my accounts bill in different currencies?** Paylytics shows the totals in whichever currency carries the most revenue and tells you plainly that the figures are not converted. It will not quietly add euros to dollars and present the result as one number. - **How fresh is the data?** Your data is mirrored into your own dashboard so that merging several accounts is instant rather than a pile of API calls on every page load. You choose when to refresh, per account or all at once, and every page tells you how long ago that was. - **Are my figures part of the totals on the home page?** Only as four unattributable sums, and only once enough separate businesses are connected that no single one could be worked out by subtraction — until then that band shows either our own accounts, labelled as ours, or a sample labelled as a sample. There is no per-business row in it, nothing about your customers, and every money figure is rounded down. It is never sold or given to anyone; it is a statement about the product on the product’s own page. Ask us and your accounts are excluded from it entirely. The privacy page has the full list. - **Is Paylytics free?** There is a free plan and it is a real one, not a trial: connect 2 accounts, read every view, no card at signup and no expiry. Connecting more than that is $10 a month for as many as you have. The only difference between the two is the number of accounts — every figure, every view and every export is on both. - **How many accounts can I connect?** 2 on the free plan, and as many as you have on the paid one, in any mix of providers. Each account gets a colour that stays with it across every chart, table and total. There are six colours, so past six they start to repeat — which is why the account name is always printed beside its swatch rather than the colour being left to speak for itself. - **What happens if I cancel?** The plan runs to the end of the month you have already paid for, then stops. Nothing is deleted and no account is disconnected: everything you connected stays connected and keeps syncing, and you simply cannot add another one beyond the free limit until you subscribe again. Cancelling is done from the billing portal, reached from inside your dashboard. ## Optional - [Full text](https://paylytics.modulify.website/llms-full.txt): this file with both legal documents included in full.
